Littlewoods: Inside the Dream Factory

— DUE MAY 22 —

UPDATE – the film is now finished and we are scheduling

community screenings!

I’m thrilled to announce my role as filmmaker for the Littlewoods Heritage Project: Inside the Dream Factory.

Alongside writer Jeff Young and a team of LJMU archivists, all steered by Metal, I’ll be delving into a peoples history of the building; collecting stories, tales and snapshots of 20th century working life.

I’m especially honoured to have this opportunity as I acknowledge the 15 years I’ve spent intrinsically tied to Liverpool, and a life built through exploring, getting lost in and utilising derelict space. After years of occupying disused buildings, intoxicated by their histories, the stories embedded in their walls and the impact those echoes have through time, I now have this opportunity to delve into the stories of this cities most iconic empty building!

And so! If you have any friends or family who worked in/lived near/has a tale to tell about life at Littlewoods, please get in touch!
